Hi, I'm Michael Mage

I am a consultant, educator, and continuous improvement practitioner based in Seattle, WA. I partner with organizations across healthcare, government, education, and nonprofit sectors to strengthen systems, build capability, and deliver measurable results through practical, people-centered problem solving.

In addition to leading my own practice, I teach Lean Six Sigma and coach leaders to approach their work with clarity, curiosity, and discipline. Through Change Mage, I blend structured methodology with a creative lens—helping teams uncover hidden patterns, test better ways of working, and bring a bit of magic to the craft of improvement. Outside of work, I enjoy international travel, civic engagement, delicious food, and specialty coffee.
